Wayatinah Tavern and Store
A short distance from The Wayatinah Lakeside Caravan Park and in the Wayatinah Village is the Wayatinah Tavern and Store.
Both these operate on reduced hours but generally the shop is open from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm the again from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. weekdays and 9:00 am to 11:00 am weekends.
In emergencies shop goods can often be obtained from the Tavern if the shop is shut.
The shop stocks a wide range of canned and frozen goods as well as general shop lines. Fresh or frozen meat and ice are available but there are no fresh vegetables.
Petrol and diesel are available.
For the fisherman, licenses and some fishing gear are available.
The Tavern is open from 4:30pm until closing depending on custom, generally 8 or 9:00pm but may be earlier if there is no one around.
The tavern is more a club than a pub and the atmosphere is friendly and warm.
Both are easy walking distance from the Caravan Park.
